A Loving Tribute to Dave and Deb Eskew

After being a integral part of building God’s Family here in Orange County for 26 years, Dave & Deb Eskew, along with their beautiful and godly daughters, Haley and Sydney will be moving to Northern Virginia at the end of June. This decision was reached after considerable prayer and thought because their parents are at the point where they need to be closer to them.

Dave & Deb are deeply beloved and respected by so many here in and around the world. They have been truly the modern-day “Aquila and Priscilla” (Romans 16:3) of God’s Church here in Orange County. As Paul records feeling about Timothy in 1 Timothy 2:20, Robin and I have had, “no one else like them.” They have been like a son and daughter to us for the past 30 years, as well as an older brother and sister to our children, co-workers & partners in the gospel and dear friends. Dave has served as an elder, and board member and Deb as an administrator for various evangelists here in OC and LA, and as a couple the leader of our youth and family ministry–but truthfully, the many roles they have filled individually and as a couple are incalculable. They are truly treasures in the kingdom of God.

Although they will be deeply missed, they have left behind an eternal legacy of stronger marriages and spiritual families and “flesh and blood” examples of what it means to selflessly serve God’s Family. Dave and Deb we love you and are confident that you will continue to be powerful instruments of the Lord on the East Coast.

There will be a farewell reception for them on Sunday, June 23rd at 3pm at the OC Church building, 10 Goodyear, Irvine, Ca. Everyone is invited to come!
